This website is dedicted to the spirit of a male Green Singer that went with me everywhere from 1984 through 1991.  His time with me was cut short unfortunately due to his escape from an outdoor cage during my husbands tending to the cage.    For a long many months after his escape, we could hear him near our house, singing throughout the neighborhood.  We put seed out for him and left his cage door open, but he never did return to the flight.  Finally the day came that we no longer heard him around, so we can only wonder what happenned.  In captivity, they have been known to live up to 15 years or more.  So in my heart, I know he would have been with me a lot longer, were it not for a careless moment.

For years after his disappearance, I was unable to own another bird because of this incident.
He will always be loved and remembered as a profuse Singer, offering songs at all hours of the day.  So, wherever you are, little guy.... this page is for you, (I still miss you)..
